Colombian writer pokes fun at religious fervor in Latin America
Colombian writer Armando Caicedo pokes fun at religious fervor in Latin America in his new novel, “Viva el obispo ¡Carajo!” (Love Live the Bishop “Goddamn!), which he presented at the Miami Book Fair International. The novel is set in “Villa del Príncipe,” a town with a fictitious name but that, according to Caicedo, could be any municipality in Latin America “because of its great religious fervor.”
